We make our cancellation conditions more flexible. For reservations made after 11/15/2020 pay 20% when booking and if you cannot enjoy your stay due to travel restrictions imposed by the authorities as a measures against COVID- 19 get a voucher to enjoy your stay on other dates or if you prefer, we offer a full refund ( less 5% management fees).
We take very seriously the safety and hygiene of our properties, which is why our entire team has been trained in disinfection and sanitation courses and complies with a strict protocol to ensure that all measures required by health authorities are met.
The prices shown on our website are per Villa and night or week whenever indicated.
All prices are expressed in euros or in the currency of your choice . Prices include all applicable taxes , the tourist tax is reflected separately from the price of the stay during the reservation process. The tourism tax may vary depending on the duration of the stay, the category of the accommodation, the number of people or the selected dates, and the calculation of our software may not be adjusted to the real amount that will be adjusted by our team manually according to the law.
Our prices may undergo changes at any time without being applicable to already confirmed reservations, except for the modification of legal or regulatory taxes established by the competent authorities.
The prices include the enjoyment of the property during the period selected exclusively and according to the contracted conditions, it includes the cleaning of the property before the client's arrival, all bedding, a change of sheets after 7 days, a change of fresh towels, property maintenance, the costs of water, electricity, gas and internet and other supply costs or safety if there include a service to the customer during business hours and emergency the 24 hours of the day.
Terms of processing the reservation
Once a reservation has been made for one of our properties, our team will proceed to verify the data and confirm the availability of the reserved property for the dates indicated. This process will be carried out automatically or within a maximum period of 24 hours from the moment the request is sent, in which you will receive an email with the confirmation sheet and proof of the reservation and the services that have been contracted, as well as all the necessary data and detailed information about the situation of your property, how to get there and about the contact person who will receive you, will give you the keys and who will be at your disposal for everything you may require.
If the previous maximum period of 24 hours is exceeded and you have not yet received any confirmation email or in the event that there is an error in your confirmation sheet, please notify us in writing as soon as possible to our email address.
Making a reservation on our website and paying the confirmation deposit constitute a complete agreement or contract between the contracting parties, guaranteeing that you are 18 years of age or older and that you have the authority to accept and that you agree to comply with all of these terms and conditions as well as well as all the annexes and all the regulations regarding vacation rentals and compliance with the regulations of the accommodation and the location of the stay.
Payment methods and deposits
To proceed with the confirmation of a reservation, you will be required to pay a deposit as a guarantee of the availability of the house during the requested dates. The payment of this deposit will formalize the contractual relationship with Sonnevillas Menorca SL and/or with the owner or marketer of the home . The general terms and conditions of deposits are as follows:
- The deposit for bookings made 30 or more days before the first day of arrival at the house will be 20% of the total price of the reservation.
- The deposit for reservations made 30 or less days before the first day of arrival at your home will be 100% of the total price of the reservation.
You can choose to pay the Tourism Tax (Ecotax) in advance or do it in person on the day of arrival as long as the total amount matches the number of people who are going to enjoy the stay.
As a general rule, those reservations made in advance, and that have already made the payment of the corresponding deposit, must pay the rest of the reservation 30 days before the first day of arrival at the house at the most. Otherwise, you will be sent a reminder and you will have 48 hours from that moment to make the payment of the rest of the reservation, if after this time this remaining payment has not been made , your reservation would be cancelled and the company would apply the costs corresponding cancellation.
For some homes and special payment conditions, it is possible to make the payment of the rest of the reservation on the same day of arrival at the home, always before proceeding to check-in. If you require special payment conditions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
As a general rule, we do not offer any type of guarantee on the possibility of modifying a reservation once it has been confirmed, however, if you wish to modify any aspect of it, please notify our team as soon as possible and we will check the possibility of making the required modification in those cases where there is no type of impediment.
Cancellations must be communicated only in writing by sending an email to email@example.com and justified to our team, entailing the following cancellation management costs:
- For cancellations made 180 days or more before the hypothetical day of arrival, the management fee will be 15 % of the total reservation.
- For cancellations made between 30 days and 180 days before the hypothetical day of arrival, the management fee will be 20% of the total reservation.
- For the no show or cancellations made 30 days or less before the hypothetical day of arrival, the management fee will be 100% of the total reservation.
The company is not responsible for the reasons for cancellation and will always apply these conditions as long as they do not interfere with the regulations of the Kingdom of Spain at the time of cancellation.
The company reserves the right to cancel the reservation and return the total amount to the client or offer an alternative date or accommodation in case of force majeure or due to circumstances beyond the control of the company .
Entrance to the house
As a general rule, the time of entry to the house will take place from 3:00 p.m. on the first day that appears on your reservation confirmation sheet, regardless of the time of your arrival in Menorca. In some properties the time of entry to the house is different when indicated. At Sonne we do our best to be able to get the home in perfect condition as soon as possible and thus reduce waiting times, so in those cases in which the home is available before the established time, you can proceed to the check-in if desired. We ask that if there is any change in your arrival time in Menorca or there is an unforeseen event that prevents you from arriving at the house at the agreed time, you inform us as soon as possible to agree and speed up the new entry time.
Leaving the house
As a general rule, the time of departure from the house and the return of the keys will be made before 10:00 am on the last day that appears on your reservation confirmation sheet. Upon request of the client and always subject to availability of the company, the departure time of the house can be extended at an extra cost of € 40.
Services and special requirements
Our purpose is to be able to satisfy all those needs that our clients may require during their stay in one of our homes. So if you require any extra service or have any special requirement, please let us know and at Sonne we will do our best to satisfy all your demands.
People with some type of reduced mobility
At Sonne we have some villas specifically adapted for people with some kind of reduced mobility. You can contact us for more information. We also have other easily accessible villas built on the same level and which may be suitable for some people with reduced mobility . If you require more information, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help you and indicate the best options depending on the degree of mobility and your needs.
Number of occupants
The maximum number of occupants is the one established in the descriptions of the villas in accordance with Law 8/2012, of the Tourism of the Balearic Islands. Therefore, the use of the house by a number of occupants greater than the one that appears on the reservation confirmation sheet is not allowed . Failure to comply with this rule may be grounds for termination of the contract by the company, reserving the right, if it sees fit, to make the occupants not confirmed in the reservation, or all their occupants, abandon if this situation leads to behaviour problems, complaints from neighbours, or disrespectful use of the home. Not respect the maximum number of people allowed constitutes the loss of all right to claim in case of any incident, personal injury or civil liability. If you have any doubts or questions regarding the maximum number of occupants, let us know and we will be happy to help you.
At Sonne we hope that our clients enjoy their stay with us to the fullest, but always being respectful and civic, both with the home, with the neighbours and with the environment. The customer is responsible for their own behaviour and also of his companions. If for any reason there is a complaint, demand or complaint by the neighbours or by the competent authority for the conduct of one or more occupants for whatever reason, as well as inappropriate and disrespectful behaviour with our team or staff of subcontracted companies, Sonne may proceed to the immediate abandonment of the home of the person causing the problems or of all its members if deemed appropriate, without the right to any refund of the cost of your reservation. In addition, without prejudice to all of the above, a demonstrable bad behaviour will be a reason for non-return of the deposit, whether there is any damage or breakage in the home or not, this would be paid for with the deposit of the deposit and resort to the judicial if the damages or losses caused exceed the amount of the deposit or if the company sees fit.
Failure to respect the agreed departure time will result in the loss of the entire amount of the deposit, in the event that the cleaning service is present after 10:00 am in a home to carry out the cleaning work and it is still occupied, it will give a last opportunity so that in a maximum of 15 minutes the house is unoccupied, if the delay is more than 15 minutes from the moment of notice it will mean the loss of the deposit.
We inform you that, as a general rule of the company, pets are not allowed in our homes. Only those cases in which it is shown that the animal is of assistance are allowed, always with the prior authorization of the owner of the home, so we ask that if this is your case, contact us to make it possible and facilitate the stay as much as possible. Except for these cases, failure to comply with this rule will be grounds for Sonne to terminate the vacation contract, and entail the immediate abandonment of the property without the right to a refund of the reservation costs or the amount of the deposit.
If you have any type of claim during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible, as Sonne will not accept any claim made on a date after your stay in any of our homes. At Sonne we will do everything in our power to resolve possible claims that may arise in the most efficient way possible. In addition, we inform you that we have complaint forms available to our clients in accordance with current legislation.
The properties managed by Sonne require a security deposit, which will be paid in cash before entering the house , making a retention on your card or with the last payment of the cost of your reservation. The security deposit is returnable and will be reimbursed by bank transfer to the account or a refund to the credit card that you have provided before 7 days after the day of your departure, as long as none is appreciated during your inspection, anomaly, breakage or damage to the property, its furniture, electrical appliances and other elements that compose it. If this is not the case, Sonne reserves the right to use part or all of the deposit to cover the costs of any repairs or replacements that may have to be made. The security deposit or guarantee is different in all the properties, but in general it is between € 200 and € 500.
Only in the event of force majeure, due to any anomaly or damage to the reserved property, Sonne avails itself of the right to be able to change the property for another of the same category or higher than the one reserved, always with the client's approval, or to proceed with the return of the total cost of the reservation without the obligation to find another accommodation for the client if he does not accept or we do not have other accommodations available provided that the return proportional to the days not enjoyed has been satisfied.
Sonnevillas Menorca SL is not responsible for the loss or misplacement of luggage, theft, personal or material damage or other accidents beyond the management of the company. The company will not be responsible for possible incidents with some of our collaborating companies that have been contracted through our website, such as the transfer service, vehicle rental, excursions, etc. That will have to be settled with the company that provides the contracted services. Although the company takes all precautions so that the images and descriptions of the properties and the equipment conform to reality, it is not responsible for the fact that the equipment, facilities or inventory does not conform to what is described on our website or in the photographs, reserving the right to substitute, repair or provide solutions and alternatives to the deficiencies that may arise and that satisfy the expectations of the clients. The client declares that they will make proper use of the leased property, exempting Sonnevillas Menorca SL from any responsibility, as well as that the client will be responsible for damages caused in a premeditated manner or due to a misuse of the property. Sonnevillas Menorca SL reserves the right to update any of these conditions at any time if it is required in accordance with the company's own activity.
Protection of users' personal data by SONNEVILLAS MENORCA SL
In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, on the Protection of Personal Data, the Client is informed of the incorporation of their data to a file, whose responsible is Sonnevillas Menorca SL (hereinafter the Company), and whose purpose it is the management of the client's accommodation. It may be used, likewise and provided that the client has expressly indicated it, to inform about related services, offers and commercial campaigns. The user of online reservation services is voluntarily providing personal data (hereinafter, Personal Data) whose sole purpose is to be able to complement the reservation. The card data is either made in a payment gateway that belongs to the bank with which the company has contracted said service, or it is done in a secure environment, in which case the Company will not know said data. The client can exercise the rights of access, opposition, rectification and cancellation of their data, by writing to the Company, P / Espanya, 7,3º, 07750, Ferreries (Menorca), Balearic Islands. The Company guarantees that they have adopted the appropriate security measures in their facilities, systems and files. Likewise, it guarantees the confidentiality of Personal Data, although it will reveal to the competent public authorities the Personal Data and any other information that is in its possession or is accessible through its systems and is required in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions. to the case. Users of the on-line reservation system guarantee and respond, in any case, to the veracity, accuracy, validity and authenticity of the Personal Data provided, and undertake to keep them duly updated.
Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
These terms and / or general contracting conditions are governed by Spanish Law. SONNEVILLAS MENORCA SL and the users, for the resolution of any controversy that may arise, regarding its validity, execution, compliance or resolution, total or partial, submit, expressly waiving their own jurisdiction or any other that, in their case, it could correspond, to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Maó-Mahón. This contract constitutes the complete and complete expression of the agreement between SONNEVILLAS MENORCA SL and the user, and replaces all previous pacts, commitments, statements or agreements, both written and oral, that have previously existed between both.
